You read it right. We have finally decided to get on the 1.10 train! 😀
Minecraft 1.10 has been around for quite a while already (June 8, 2016). And as much as we wanted to bring the new features to Mitecraft right away, we had to make sure all plugins and server features will be compatible with this update. We do not want you guys to have to deal with bugs caused by it.
And now, the wait is over!
Mitecraft is now at Minecraft version 1.10.2! What to expect with this update?
Well, if you think the nether is a scary place, think again! Endermen have already been seen wandering there too! There are also fancy new blocks features on the screenshot below. They’ll make a nice addition to the selection of decorative blocks that you can use for your builds and designs. An auto-jump feature has also been added to make navigating terrains easier. Just be careful when you’re on cliffs and high places. To read more on the Minecraft 1.10 Frostburn update, visit Mojang’s update post.
Due to the update and the new features that come with it, the world border has been expanded from 5k x 5k chunks to 10k x 10k. With this border expansion, chunks beyond x: 5000 and z: 5000 will have all 1.10 land features (e.g. Underground fossils, biome-based villages). However, chunks within the 5k radius will NOT have any of those features as they have been pre-generated on Minecraft 1.9.4.
If you encounter any issues or bugs, please report them to @mites as soon as possible.
Enjoy the Frostburn, crafters! 😉
